Some days, just showing up is the hardest part
Not because the work is impossible, but because my energy, motivation, or mood is totally off.
There are days when I really don’t feel like opening my laptop, and I get easily distracted.
Sometimes, I’m scared. Scared of failing, of not doing it perfectly, or of starting something I’m unsure about.
Work is a hobby for me, and I genuinely enjoy it. But sometimes I overwork, and my energy drains faster than I realize.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Showing up isn’t about waiting for inspiration.
It’s about Choice. Discipline.
Trusting yourself to do the work, even when you really don’t feel like it or even when you’re scared
The first step is always the hardest, but also the most important.
And once I start, momentum kicks in.
Some days I feel unstoppable. Some days I don’t. And that’s okay, because not everyone can show up consistently, even when it’s hard.
If you showed up today, at any work or any task, give yourself a high-five.
