I always pictured "working from the beach" as one of those things freelancers post about: laptop on the sand, zero stress in sight. Looks cool, right?
Actually, yeah, it kind of is. The sea breeze, the sunshine, the relaxing view, and the good vibes really do feel good, especially with a mango shake on the side.

The good feeling is I got to work online on my laptop, like searching for the best products to resell and recommending them to my client. When they liked it, it made me feel good, especially when they purchased a lot and made good sales.
BUT, you know what?
The Unglamorous Part Nobody Posts About
The wifi was super duper slow. Sometimes no signal at all. It made me a little stressed, what if the client got mad? But thankfully, they weren't like that. Freelancing from anywhere doesn't erase the actual work, it just changes the backdrop. HAHA.

What I've learned is that the freedom isn't really about the location. It's about being trusted to get the work done without someone checking in every hour. That's the part worth protecting, not the beach, the trust.
The location changes. The work, and the trust that comes with doing it well, is what actually matters.
Next time, I'll bring a better setup. But I wouldn't trade the chaos of that sea breeze for a quiet office day. It reminded me why I chose to be where I am in the first place.
